You predictably neglect to mention that Khan only won 1 poll which had less overall votes. Maidana overwhelmingly beat Khan by 15+ points on the more prominent ESPN poll. Any sensible boxing fan knows that Khan's boxing style should be a lot more problematic for Floyd than the numerous come-forward sluggers that he's faced over his career, including Maidana - someone who Khan himself already beat. Sensible boxing fans? gtfo.. lol
Maidana's win over Broner is inconsequential since Broner is one of the most overrated fighters of modern times, beyond even a Jeff Lacy level of misdirected hype. He should really have 5 losses on his record to Quintero, Ponce De Leon, Malignaggi, Maidana and Porter. He is a C-level fighter but if you don't believe me just ask Shawn Porter who said that Julio Diaz is much tougher than Broner. And as we know, Khan beat Diaz while Maidana only beat the inferior Broner.Comment
