When an aggressive fighter fails to cut off the ring on a fighter who is constantly moving away, should we blame the aggressive fighter for not knowing how or the guy who is always moving away, avoiding a real fight for us?

I was watching the third fight between Leonard and Duran. Given, it's a pretty lousy fight, but who is more to blame?
Duran was 38 and very past it and yes, maybe he should have done more. In his last fight against Barkley, he looked great. But let's face it. He did not have to run Barkley down either.
Leonard bicycled it most of the way and I have to say, is this remotely entertaining? There were several boos and I can't believe they were for Duran coming forward.
In this particular case, I have to say that this snoozer was Leonard's fault more so than Duran. At least Duran landed the only meaningful punch in the eleventh and sliced Leonard open. Even Leonard's big combinations missed as shown on the replays.
