So much for the positive changes that were supposed to happen starting in September. Fighting vs TBA in 6wks or less don't sound like that positive an outcome so far. Hopefully PBC is in Rigo's future or I think his whole career will end up being more of a "what if" thing than a "what he did" thing.

Probably on PBC. They're the only one's open. There is a November FS1 card, Bounce TV card and Lara doesn't have a co-feature yet on ESPN.Comment

Miami-based promoters Caribe Promotions are in the process of finalizing a November fight for World Boxing Organization (WBO) super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux. The two-time Olympic gold medal winner was recently threatened by the WBO with the possibility of losing his title due to inactivity. Rigondeaux is also the WBA's "super" world champion at the weight limit.

They haven't done anything yet! No fight or opponent has been announced. They are likely trying to get in touch with Al Haymon to beg him to pay Rigo $50,000 to fight on one of the PBC undercard fights scheduled for November. If Haymon doesn't go for it, Caribe will up the proverbial s....t creek!Comment

Caribe has been promoting him his entire career. Other than being dumped by co-promoter, Top Rank after his contract with them expired, what promotional problems has he had?Comment

No idea why he's so loyal to Caribe. Hyde was not only the one working to get him fights, he's the one who helped get him out of Cuba tooComment
