Nothing to discuss. Kovalev hits much harder than Froch. He also hits harder pound for pound than Froch. Froch often went the full 12 rounds in title fights while almost nobody goes 12 rounds with Kovalev or even 6 rounds. Froch is a good puncher but Kovalev is a great puncher.

Kovales probably P4P the hardest puncher in the world right now.

No shame in not punching as hard. However, Froch's opposition was also more sturdy than Kovalev's has been so far.
