Just watched the fight. Gerald Washington sucks. I'm not usually that critical of fighters but Washington just did not behave like a fighter. He was the bigger and taller fighter but yet he backpedalled for most of the fight. He landed a handful of good hard punches but everything else was pitter patter.
On the other hand, Mansour had his moments and pushed forward most the fight but a lot of his aggression was ineffective. It's tough when your opponent is fighting on backfoot all night and refusing to engage.
Mansour is the ultimate 'fringe contender.' He has fights where he looks good but then he has fights where he struggles and fails to impress and get to the next level.
