Incorrect, and if you're going with "rumors" then that's your problem. As I said, Ward's camp officially made mention of it in the last few days, along with the move to 175 . Anything you heard before that was as good as anyone's guess. I don't count guesses and rumors as news.

There were tweets as old as Sept 4 saying Peter Nelson of HBO wanted him to fight Gonzalez.

Anyone knows what's Ward's, next step is, assuming he gets past his forthcoming tuneup fight?

Is it Golovkin or Kovalev? Or neither? What's on his mind exactly?

That's the biggest question. He seems to be a guy whom nobody can have any bit of control of, whether it's HBO, Goosen, Roc... which I'm sure want high profile fights for him. (Which promotional company, network doesn't?)

Funny part was he's being used by 12 people in this forum as a decoy to hate on Golovkin. "GG should move up and fight the #2 P4P. He ducking doe."

Another funny part was he had all the time in the world to make the fight happen. He just kept blowing smoke, till finally he was forced to make an offer a month ago or so. And the fight is supposed to take place late next year. What a joke.
