Has Golovkin ever been rocked? Chin seems the goods to me. I remeber Stevens got a few big shots off on him G ate them well.

Could it be power punchers like Stevens did hit him and he passed with flying colors making it appear he hasn't been tested

        In all fairness, things change.
One thing is to take a good punch, which he has proven to be good at. Another is to come back from a solid knockdown, compose yourself and overcome that situation and win.

          Lemieux will take this one

Lemieux will take this one. If Monroe had any kind of power like Lemieux, GGG would have been in trouble between the 3-5 rounds. GGG will be shocked in this fight. Honestly, I think that contrary to the odds, Lemieux will be a nightmare for him. ANYONE of the fighters GGG fought, Lemieux would have done the same thing to them. The Rubio case is easy. The guy was weight drained. Couldn`t make weight... Had no incentive to fight GGG since he couldn`t win the belt. Put the same Rubio who fought GGG against Lemieux, and Lemieux would dismantle him. Let us all remember that when Rubio fought Lemieux 4 1/2 years ago, Lemieux was very immature but still won the first 5 rounds until he started running out of gas in the 6th. So, it's not like Rubio was beating up Lemieux. Quite to the contrary. All in all, GGG is in for a brutal surprise.

Agree - I'd like to see DL knock GGG down to see how he reacts to it.

I have been hearing that for some time now, that his chin is suspect.

              It has been mentioned repeatedly.

No idea where it came from, I havent seen anything to indicate that.

I think that subject is overblown and will not be an issue in the fight.

In saying that, you wouldn't want to take a flush one from Lemieux.

If Golovkin is as good as stated, he really shouldn't have too many problems with Lemieux. Gennady can beat far better fighters than this guy.

If he can handle Ward, no way should this guy give him any real trouble.

If Golovkin relaxes and settles into the fight nice and early he will be fine.

I think I might be a little optimistic with my tko 5/6'ish prediction.

Yep David is an easy fight being hyped up as a big test , GGG has had near on 400 amateur fights , he will have many boxing skills and be way too much for Lemieux .

I dont think he can handle Ward but we are not going to find out .
