You're talking a 60+ lb weight advantage. Power is not just in strength of punch and fluidity of technique, it's in the weight transfer. If you can translate your weight into the end of your fist with enough efficacy.

GGG would be at a distinct disadvantage even at 175. His power would not be his saving grace any more and he would start showing more wear and tear. Forget a hw, killer Kov would decapitate GGG at lhw.

Funny to me how you think because a former 154 lber journeyman that blew up to hw lost to ggg, that that means GGG could win a TITLE at hw. What a logical leap!
If Dustin Nichols trains GGG for this fight, Wilder will get kayod in first round.

Ok he is short and narrow. At 33 GGG is a natural MW. He isn't going up to 168 he can starve himself and make 154.

And no he does not hit harder than Tyson. You could argue that relatively for a MW he is more powerful but no way where his punches more forceful.

Exactly. So his power WOULD be felt at HW. Most people agree Gennady can make noise at HW. It isn't too hard then to imagine him beating a guy like Povetkin or Stiverne who are smaller / stockier HWs.

GGG ishida rematch at heavyweight would be a great way for gennady to tap into the Asian market. Loeffler has said there is interest for a GGG fight in Korea. Make it happen lol

GGG having a lot of power P4P quite frankly means jack****
If he steps up to heavyweight he wouldnt even be considered a puncher anymore, atleast compared to the punchers at heavyweight

Sure GGG at his weight could probably beat ****ty heavyweights but its that not impressive if he cant even beat the best SMW

Sure he could. Bob Fitzsimmons and Sam Langford knocked out dozens of heavyweights while only weighing 160 to 165 pounds. I doubt they hit harder than GGG.

Fight winners are decided in the ring by the fighters not by fans like you. Ward has no win over GGG and it's very possible GGG could knock Ward out. You don't know Ward would beat GGG. You are just guessing and as a Ward fan your guess is bias.

I am sure he could knock out some heavyweights but I am equally sure he couldn't beat guys like Fury, Wlad and Wilder. No middleweight could. The size difference is too much. The best heavyweights hit harder and are able to take a harder punch than any middleweight.
