What you're missing is that most of the people accused of hating Golovkin actually like the guy. They just can't say anything objective about him here because the golovkids are so rabid in believing that anything not praising Genady is heresy. The fact that many of them are less educated in the science doesn't help their cause. So, making sensible statements like he's fighting marginal competiton and avoiding Ward become hateful words of war in the eyes of the minions. It's really obnoxious interacting with people like that, hence the big rift and the perception that he's hated.

Tell me what would be the "objetive things" people say about him?

1) "all his fights have been tune ups"
2) "he fights bums all the time"
3) "he is a coward for not fighting ward" yet ward belongs to another division

Yea, it's pathetic. In the gym I've never heard someone talking shyt about Joe Calzaghe (some of the greatest cardio and highest volume punching in a larger fighter ever), or clowning on Pac getting knocked out, calling Cotto a quitter, etc. I've never, ever seen a boxer with any talent talking like that in the gym unless it's some TV promo. The guys that do that online are typically small, scared individuals that feed their ego via the only medium that will allow. That said, I don't see criticizing a record as being internet talk. That's classic boxing talk that's been going on for decades.

Sure, but let go of your fascination with the word "objective" for a sec and let's be honest.
Genady's opposition has been relatively unimpressive. It's a thin division. His fault? No, but when you've got callers at 168 and even 154 willing to go up to 160 and you clearly avoid them, it's suspect. Let's not pretend that hasn't happened because guys that do that are simpletons at this point. And, before you go there, Ward retired all the great competition at 168 and is looking for the best opposition in the nearest weight classes. He hasn't asked Kovalev to come down, Genady shouldn't ask him to come down (esp since Genady said he'd fight anyone at 168!!).

Aside from steering clear of stiffer competition, I have no bones with Golovkin as a boxer. I don't think he's great, his defense and response to getting hit are poor, but he's otherwise quite a good fighter overall. I think I've always maintained that. Any honest boxing fanneeds to be critical of his choices in competition though. Same with Ward, same with everyone.

1) Who is he ducking from 154? Lara? ****ing Lara that got beat by Canelo and almost KOed by Angulo? that has to be a joke. He might fight Lara sometime in the future but to presume that he's scared of Lara is crazy.

Hold on just a minute.

Getting fed up with every GGG post where some hater always wants to toss Ward into the mix. It seems to me Ward is the one running. And thats running towards a big undeserved payday either with GGG Who is a division or two below below him or up to the light heavyweight division to Kovalev. But what about the talent Ward seems to be running from in the rest of the super middle weight division?!?!?! Of the nine or ten last fights in bouts going ten or more rounds, he only has one tko and that against Chad Dawson. The rest are unanimous dicision wins. And only three or four of those are against top competition. Such as Arthur Abraham, froch, and Bika to name a few. The others are more or less gate keepers and journeymen fighters. There are still some fighters with excellent credentials in this division that he hasn't fought,....or is running away from, like Lamount Peterson, Andre Dirrell, Anthony Dirrell, Degale, Groves, Ramirez, Badou Jack, and the list goes on. Why isn't he calling any of these boxers out????? Probably because he hasn't the courage to risk that "0" in the loss column. This is the major reason I don't have a lot of respect for Ward,...or his fan base. The reason his career has stalled out is because it is his own damn fault. He really has no business calling out boxers in different divisions when he is in a division that is steeped with such talent,.. and yes, risk. It's all about the money for Ward and company. First, I can't re-explain everything or chase your circular arguments. For whatever reason, you're not understanding half of what I'm saying. You clearly have no interest in being objective because when you asked what my criticisms were, you immediately challenged them with a combination of straw man arguments and non-objective statements. Boxing analysis is, by definition, not an objective practice. You need to understand that. Otherwise one could qualify it via computation. We have to have some insight and ability to reasonably speculate. Nothing I said would be considered unreasonable by any normal standard. Your only interest is in defending Genady so take a lesson from the Matthysse indecent learn to make critical observations about fighters you like. I'll let you in on the secret; they ALL have flaws and they're only human.

So are you supposed to hate every fighter this guy likes now? You can easily paint yourself into a corner with that mentality and that is probably why alot of these Mayweather fans only are Mayweather fans and fans of no other fighter really.

Not saying that I'm in favor of the practice but it's something I've noticed. It usually comes from people that are a fan of certain boxer, not necessarily the sport of boxing itself. I can't find any videos of max golovkin boxing either. It was very admirable of the sacrifice he made in order for ggg to do what he did. And yes, he looks to be the mean streak of the twins. Had to give him props for that.
