Parviz lost to a very good Kazakh fighter today but I think he can still qualify for Rio if he wins the 3rd place fight. He beat Roniel Iglesias in the quarters who is a very good fighter.

Selimov is probably the best we've got atm but we have some other good young fighters coming through like Mamishzada and Mammadov
I didn't know you were from Azerbaijan. I admit that was a bit harsh

They are decent boxers but few of them are elite. Elvin Mamishzada is a good little fighter. Teymur Mammadov is a bigger fraud than Chavez Jr LOL.

Yeah, I am originally, but I've lived in England for pretty much my whole life.

Teymur is a bit sloppy but he's still very young and almost always has a big size advantage over his opponents, he's very hard to beat.

        Is Tischenko from Kazakhstan?

If so, I'm choosing him via easy work, since Kazakhstan defeated Cuba in the most recent WSOB finals.

Yep. Savon won every minute of every round. A complete shut out.

The fight was fixed just like 80% of amateur bouts at this level. Tishchenko just had to stay on his feet to get the win.

I had the fight 2-1 for Savon. I don't think it was a robbery like everyone is saying though. It's not Tishchenko wasn't landing punches himself.

Arlen Lopez of Cuba looked good. I didn't think he was deserving of his #1 seed, but he proved me wrong. 19 year old Bektemir Melikuziev also did good and came back strong in the last round. He's definitely one to watch. The Middleweight division is going to be good at the Olympics with fighters like Lopez, Melikuziev, Alimkhanuly, O'Reilly, Abdin, and Khamukov.

The best final so far in my opinion was the 64 kg, in which both boxers showed a lot of talent. Dunaytsev of Russia and Gaibnazarov of Uzbekistan. I really like what I see from Dunaytsev.
