He's ripe for a Margarito style smashing IMO and I reckon Povetkin is the one to do it. Then hopefully all this overblown chin nonsense can stop.

    Oliver McCall he's not.
The chin of Mariusz Wach is about 2 or 3 punch classes stronger than that of Oliver McCall.

Oliver has a modern era style "iron chin" to be sure.. But Mariusz Wach is in a class apart.. "Tungsten and Titanium" may not even be hard enough to describe it. Neutron degenerate matter is probably the best description LOL.

Seriously, if Povetkin KO's Wach, on top of Perez and Takam, who themselves probably have harder chins than McCall as well- well there can be no denying that this dude is one bad ass mother ****er alright!

Surviving Wladimir in the manner of Wach did IS most certainly the greatest measure achieveble...

Wladimir with no serious argument represents the highest punch class of all time bar none...

One level above Lewis and Tyson and about 3 levels beyond George Foreman.

Almost too ****** to mention, when Haye, Ibragimov and Jennings survived Wladimir, they did not do so by wearing clean flush missiles on their mug for an entire 12 rounds straight! Obviously!

You overrating his hitting power. He relies much mone on his boxing abilities and and tactics, tricks and gameplan.

Wladimir also doesn't have good chin. Sanders, Brewster showed that.

But he never really outboxed. All his losses are KO's.
Late Wlad wouldn't lose those 3 bouts.

Povetkin has stamina issues, if he goes out there headhunting from the beggining, he might have a problem later in the fight as Wach's chin is made of granite apperantly.

If Marco Huck could hurt Povetkin, Wach can knock him out.

The most likely scenario is Povetkin UD, but I won't be surprised if Wach stops him.
          I am biased, Wach! Poland!
          Whip that clown Wach!

I'm going with Wach here. I think Povetkin will simply wear down by round 5 and Wach will step in and take advantage..

Late Wlad would never have lost those 3 bouts in a million years. The only real question was Sanders and a more respectful measure rather than going in for the kill sorts him out, Sanders is not Wlads equal.

Puritty was purely an overpacing issue, solved thereafter, as if Wlad couldn't thump Puritty blindfolded.

Brewster was not even a legitimate loss and certainly no chin issue at all, doctors reports prove he was basically hospital material, he nearly died from hypoglycaemia, everybody knows this. Besides Wlad did rematch him and belted him just as easily as he did the first and this time was healthy and stopped him.

On Wlad's chin, it's not an iron chin, but Wlad definitely has a strong chin. There is no other boer ever whom has taken on so many good and, such hefty opponents with as few knockout losses.

The weak Wlad chin is a fully busted myth.
