Yeah i see him coming out the champ. Even in his ko lose to Bhop he looked good. Untill the KO moment. This is going to be just like the vargas fight. He is fighting a guy who got KO by tito, has a lot of power, there is no love loss and oscar is coming in after a year of inactivity. with so much the same as that fight is see the outcome the same

Well in anyone opinion, who do you think has more will to finish what they started? I dont know much but just curious about what people have to say. Cusin of mine says hoya has more heart compared to the guy he's fighting...

in one of oscars fight lamply said:

is it easy for these guys not to put in 100% after the money is already in the bank.
            forman replyed:
oscar is a profesional, he did all the training he needed to do in his first fights and amature carrere.

all oscar had to do is come in shape. after oscar got koed i questioned his hart a little bit. mayorga took many punches to the head againts tito but he did not stop coming at him, they both have hart. de la hoya is caring no respect for this guy into the ring. when he does that he usually ends the fight with a KO

Oscar will take care of Mayorga, and then go out a loser against MW.

I think the guy has been great for Boxing and I respect how he takes all fights.

Maybe he will make a difference as a promoter as well..get us through post Don King era.

yeah, exactly, I mean wouldnt it be nice?

whose face would you like to see behind the fighters at the end of a fight?

Oscar "I fought everyone that counted in my times and I am a nice respectful guy" De La Hoya

                or

Don "most corrupt man in boxing + in jail for manslaughter" King

                I don't have many doubts

mayorga is one of my favorite fighters to watch. not as a personal fave, but he's always exciting. i wouldn't care too much either way on who wins, as long as it's a good fight.

but, the point made about dk, i feel that. is there really anybody who isn't sick of don king. he kept a strangle hold on the heavyweight division for years now. keeps acting like he's trying to get champs to fight other champs for unification. if you are level headed, than you know it's bull****. the stagnation of the heavyweight div is most 90% a product of don king. wasn't don king the guy who wanted a toney/rahman rematch immediately?

hopefully, don king's empire of recycled fighters will continue to crumble. let me know if i got everything straight here: dk has rahman, a few fights left on valuev, and no options on byrd(who is self promoted) and liakhovich.

I think De La Hoya will win a unanimous decision and he might just finish his career right then and there. With Tito retired, Mosley just about finished, and Hopkins done after Tarver, he has nothing left to fight for. Win or lose, De La Hoya is finished.
