When a fighter can decide to change his approach for one fight and almost come out victorious, that's more to how overrated Khan is as a fighter.

It also shows how much better a trainer JDJ is than Hunter.

I think Khan is just an average boxer with a weak chin who has yet to avenge any of his 3 losses. He beat one good boxer at welterweight and that was Alexander who was ranked 10th when Khan beat him. If Khan beats a top 5 welterweight like Pacquiao, Garcia, Thurman or Porter his bragging would be more believable. Right now Khan hardly ever fights and when he does it's someone like Collazo or Algieri. Khan certainly talks a great fight but he never actually fights a good boxer who can punch. Khan is not even in the top 100 pound for pound in my opinion.

                Maidana wasn't a puncher ?

You still need to look at that fact though. If Algieri, who doesn't press the action as well as Peterson or Maidana managed to almost get the victory, that should tell you Khan has regressed as a fighter.

I don't know about that because I don't think any trainer can help Khan, Roach did but Khan still had tons of weaknesses.

Watch Algieri come out to be the greatest WW of this new era completely transformed from here on out by JDJ.
