Comments Thread For: Brook's Promoter Wants Bradley Next, Canelo at 154?

Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport has big plans in store for IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (35-0, 24KOs).

Brook makes the third defense of his world title on October 24th in Sheffield, when he steps in the ring with dangerous Diego Chaves of Argentina.

Should Brook walk away with the win, Hearn wants to stage a unification next year with WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, who faces Brandon Rios on November 7th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

How about you concentrate on the job at hand.

Chaves is not Dan or Gavin.

In 2009 Brook called said he wanted Cotto, 2015 he has finally became world champ but only good name on his record is Porter (which was a very close fight)
He said he wanted Marquez Bradley Mayweather Khan Pacquiao but get Gavin and Chaves; who actually not a bad fighter and like the fight; you can't complain about jojo because he had to get it out the way.
It seems he like using names instead of actually fighting them.

Boxing is a business and it seems that they can not get the finance right for Brook. Rio stated that everything was agreed and Hearns pulled out of the deal. I think Brooks beat the crap out of Rios and will do the same on Chaves.
Am waiting for him to step up but I don't think Canelo fight is even close as he needs an other big name on his record.
Brook vs Thurman would be a great fight.
The way Brook is going though I think he might beat Mayweathers 49-0 record.

Brook is concentrating on Chaves, Hearn is concentrating on what comes next.... y'know, capitalising on the huge media interest and opportunity. This is how it should be if both men are doing they jobs.

Those fights haven't happened yet. Through no fault of Kell's if you'd been paying attention.

Bradley will probably happen if both win their next fights.

Bradley is a good fight and is the natural progression for both guys. Canelo won't be able to boil down to 155 for much longer so I don't see that fight happening.

Bradley is a good fight for him. Canelo can't make 154, and I wouldn't give him much of a shot at beating him at any reasonable weight.

It takes two to tango doe. You could also say Brook has more balls than Ward. See how easy it is when fighters really want a certain fighter? Ward would rather do tuneups now. He's a great pretender.
