BUT!!! His promoters are a joke, he is in there with total bums and he has fought nobody in 10 years as a pro. The guy is 33 and has yet to fight a current champ. That is insanely hard to do. He's a good fighter, but since he hasn't fought anyone we don't know how good.

I can still be a fan of someone and acknowledge they have an absurdly weak resume.
That is where most people stand I think. But his fan boys would have you believe he has been fighting nothing but killers. I love GGG as a fighter, I mean there isn't really anything to dislike. But I'm not gonna pretend he has a good resume.

They are not the same either. Golovkin isn't comparabe to either Mayweather or Pacquiao, this is hurtful, reading things like these. I was never a fan of Pacquiao because I do not like his style of fighting, but it's an insult to Pac to compare him to GGG. Unless you are joking.
Not literally and in terms of accomplishments. But that's why people are gravitating towards him.

There were a few, and I mean a few, that were even posting about this guy before his fight with Proksa. Then a little more after that. But once Manny got iced, you slowly started seeing those fans slide over. Make new accounts, post the same exact way, and become ggg historians.

To me, that's where the haters started coming from. Like Manny, it wasn't mainly due to the boxer himself. On here though, just look at his fans. They went from being the most annoying boxing fans on nsb, to converting and surpassing that annoyance onto ggg. Not all, but a good majority of them.

Now I've seen some ggg fans that know their ****, that follow the sport and can school just about anyone on here in regards to boxing. But 98% of his fans are phony, clowns and pretty much just going onto the next big thing like they did with Matthysse and for a bit Ruslan.
Accurate assessment. A ton of GGG fans are simply ABWs (anybody but Mayweather), they've latched onto GGG because they think his success somehow diminishes what Floyd has accomplished. And if GGG continues to fight tomato cans and gets to 50-0 they'll all be crowing about how much better if a career GGG had than Floyd.

My opinion is once Manny lost, they needed someone knew to defeat mayweather. It started like that at first but they've all kinda slowed down on that. Like I said there's a few of fans that you know are genuine boxing fans. They were here before the hype, and they'll be here after he's gone.

Then there's others that will probably jump ship to someone else or fall off period.

Yo Mak.. Daytime drinking is applauded from me. Catch a good buzz. If they aren't showing your raiders game then simply nap through it. wake up, eat a hearty meal. Drink before TWD and boom!! Continue drinking. Take a hit of some bud to equalize the drunkness too.

He doesn't have the talent, skill or resume to be compared to Floyd. GGG is pretty much a coward who refuses to fight the best.

That is the category I fall under as a fan of his although I wouldn't say weak. Or maybe you mean weak in the sense of he's 33, which is pretty alarming if he intends to go down as one of the greats.
