British contender Tyson Fury is courting Joseph Parker to help him prepare for his world heavyweight title fight against Wladimir Klitschko.

The outspoken Fury is a fan of the New Zealand prospect and believes Parker has the size, power and attitude to help tune his game ahead of meeting Klitschko in Dusseldorf on November 28.

"He's a very, very good young boxer," Fury's uncle and trainer Peter Fury said from Ireland where they are beginning their latest preparations for a fight that was delayed by a calf injury to Klitschko. "He has got punch power. We like the way he boxes.

Fury dont need Parker, he just hire Adam Booth in his platform shoes with a glove on the end of a stick like Haye used to prepare for Klitschko. Always makes me laugh when I think of that open work out fight week.

Parker he's a little short IMO, they should find somebody who fights long Hughie Fury is probably a good a sparring partner than anyone unless Peter is too worried it will damage Tyson's fragile statement of mind, likelihood is he has been sparring Hughie hence why he has been talking so much as of late trying to shift the attention off of himself.

With Wlad he really fights with his size optimally, best to find someone as big if not bigger but doesn't necessarily optimise their size advantage to take Fury out of his on comfort zone and fragile mental state, Ustinov would be perfect fodder he has a dangerous left hook the size and reach are similar too. Unless of course Fury still has nightmares about him.

there's really no perfect sparring partner when youre fighting wlad. there's nobody his size that has his agility. ustinov would be a poor choice imo because hes painfully slow. parker is shorter but at least he can throw descent combinations with good speed. hed be much better preparation than ustinov

I wasn't being overly serious apart from the point about Ustinov giving Fury nightmares.

Likely, had he have caught him though I'm sure he could have hurt him, I guess we will have to wait for the 28th Nov to see how Fury measures up against a guy he can not rely on his size alone to get past, another boxer who can match him instead of being too small to make a notable challenge.

yea,,,,its seems like there's two camps with fury. hes either overrated or underrated. im pretty much in the middle. he definitely has his flaws but I think his size,,,,,,work rate and stamina will give him at least a small chance of upsetting wlad. wlads reflexes have been slowly declining and fury has that youth and passion on his side. Im still leaning toward a wlad kayo win but I wouldnt be shocked if fury pulls it out. if this fight was a few yrs ago I wouldnt even think of betting against wlad but hes getting up there in age now and fury might be the one to finally knock him off. we shall see

                    I recall that as well.

Booth is clever at the mind games, but I am not convinced on the depth of his coaching abilities.

It will be interesting to see what he does with Eubanks
