JAMES DEGALE says he is not interested in a rematch with George Groves and has branded him "a joke".

DeGale makes a first defence of his IBF super-middleweight title against Lucian Bute in Canada on November 28.

Providing he wins, DeGale says fellow Londoner Groves will not be on a list of possible opponents in 2016.

DeGale has fought zero titlilists whilst Groves has fought two over three fights, yeh he lost but he beat you ! If DeGale has anything about him he should rematch Groves at the earliest opportunity then this talk of belittling him will hold water, until then he needs to zip it.

Having watched DeGale's performance versus Dirrell it was far from convincing, he seemed to switch off for four rounds or more, it would be interesting to see if he could do that versus Groves.

Well the fact remains DeGale still lost twice to Groves that will never go away that and the fact James has absolutely ZERO amount of class or sporting integrity to his name he is utter trash and he is ducking the Andre Dirrell rematch he was lucky to get a decision in that fight.

Hope he is not serious, and is just trash talking for an eventual rematch. Saying he'd be fine to retire with a loss to Groves without rematching him isn't what you want to hear from contenders or champions. He beat you in the pros - rematch him, and vindicate the loss.

Agreed, I am at the Bristol open kick boxing at The. Mo. And look around at posters of Degale not so long ago himself fighting here! George for his part helped fill Wembley stadium...prospective required here James.

Are you not familiar with the man? One of the reason Groves had so many fans was due to DeGale being such a d!ck that it obscured just how much of a tw@t Groves is. Neither have much class.
