38 is not that old for a heavyweight.

Wach isn't small, Pulev isn't small. Lewis at 38 wasn't really declining, you know two years or so ago he considering to comeback??? The man said he was past prime because for once someone made him struggle.

Of course a cut will win a fight, but it's incredibly unlucky to lose because of that. Vitali has an iron chin, I very much doubt if there was no cut Lewis would KO him.. It'd be a UD or Vitali KO. Povetkin and Haye are terrific fighters, sure the division is weak.. but those guys aren't.

Wlad is top 20, Vitali IMHO is top 10.

This isn't your greatest boxers of all time list, this is a list of your favourites.
        Well said! Thank you.
I rather have a tough time dealing with younger blokes who naturally believe the guys the saw on the television are the best ever.

But very well put. His favorites.

        Best Regards,

So your saying pulev and wach Could have been world class in any era of heavyweights ? Look I never said Haye or povetkin were bad fighters I said they are small so mix my words....in fact if haye had more size he would he would have given wlad a real scare but he was cruiser weight and just to small to affect wlad......as for Lewis never in his dream could he have beat Lewis .......Lewis was in the twilight of his career at 38 after training for a short Kirk Johnson it was switched to 6ft 6 klitchko....I think if you look closely at the fight end of 5th round Lewis hit vitali on the temple and vitali fell into him and was on weak legs and at the end of the 6 round in the corner....he never complained that it was being stopped by his corner till he heard the audience cheering for him...even at Lewis worst klitchko couldn't beat him.....u need to watch boxing a bit closer I reckon......as for 38 yes it's old for any fighter....Ali, Holmes,Norton,Holyfield and Lewis at 38 were all at the end of there career...Lewis was never considering a return.....I'm English I follow Lewis and it was a false report and Lewis shot it down straight away lol......as I said klitchko brothers will be in the top 20 of all times.....no more than top 12 or so

We won't agree on the ratings..

However if Lewis didn't prepare for Klitschko and beat him so "convincingly" I wonder why he didn't rematch after ALL the fans wanted him to. Interesting right.

Lewis is definitely higher on an ATG list, but Vitali is top 10 on mine and many people's lists

No offense TS, but your list is quite terrible in an all-time sense. Imagine that a guy who went 45-0 where 10 of those 45 wins coming against HOF'ers is not included in your list. Oh and I forgot to mention that this 45-0 record is for one single year. Imagine that. A better record than Floyd Mayweather in one single year!

                The name? Harry Greb.

Other names you might want to check up on includes Ray Robinson, Joe Gans, Henry Armstrong.
