Golovkin is a natural MW. He is fighting next week at MW and he is mandatory for the winner of Cotto vs Canelo(WBC Middleweight title).

Ward needs to get his ass in gear and get these tune ups out of the way.
Agreed. I think he will be fighting 11-21-15. It's a no brained for roc and ward to get ward much needed exposure.

Please dude, he is a below average to average sized MW. Ward is a huge SMW and it's obvious who should be the one moving up in weight.

This message board has been ridiculous in regards to the passionate hate and jealousy of Golovkin in the last year or 2 and it's only getting worse.

The only hate that is comparable is the hate that mayweather has taken, but there are actually real reasons to dislike mayweather.

If you don't like Golovkin, I don't think you actually like this sport. It's funny how many jealous comments he gets on freaking threads about 30 day and 7 day WBC weigh ins. I guess he is truly the most prominent fighter in the sport, but many of you really look ******ed.

You say ****** crap like this when the article for this thread is saying that Lemieux is bigger than GGG is and then you say GGG is ducking a guy so big that he can't even make the SMW limit anymore.

I don't think I've seen anyone here that actually dislikes him. The problem is his fanboys can't stand any legitimate criticism of his resume and team's behaviour so far. They're way too sensitive and hypocritical.

What are the "real reasons" to dislike Floyd? I doubt very seriously that anyone on this board knows Floyd personally. All we know is the small portion of his life that is played out in the public eye.

As for the GGG "hate," it doesn't exist. 95% of his critics on this site simply want the boy to step up his competition level ans validate the hype.

And extra 10? I don't think GGG's end of the purse will come close to that to begin with so that would probably triple it at the very least. There is not a chance in hell that Roc Nation offers $10 million payoff and GB could not afford to. That would be about Canelo's total purse so he may as well just vacate as fight for free.

And to be honest... NO! I do not think Golovkin accepts a CW for a MW title fight no matter who offers it or what they are willing to pay for it. Chances are that this will be the final belt in his unification pursuit and once he gets that title, he will be able to earn as much money as he could ever desire. If the fighter who holds it has to vacate and make himself look like a complete fool and coward in the process, Golovkin only comes out looking that more invincible.

I agree with you completely and this is why as soon as I come across a poster such as that, I immediately place them on my ignore list. There is no point in attempting to have a civil and intelligent discussion with someone who, for whatever reason, has an ingrained hate of Gennady Golovkin. As this indicates to me that they are not genuine fans of the sport, and not particularly bright in general, I see little reason to bother reading anything else they post on the board either. It is amazing how much better and pleasant the board is to read afterwards.

Now if only there was also a way not to have to read their posts when quoted by other members...

(TIP for the board admin: There is an add on for vbulletin that will also hide quoted posts of those on an ignore list. Might be worth looking into. I could even provide a link to it if requested.)

He really tried to compare floyds hate to golovkins Floyd is the biggest fighter in the world. Golovkin is gonna get about 200k buys, but yea soooo many people hate him
