Like I posted yesterday, the WBA's corruption and ******ity cannot be understood. They probably cut the head off a chicken and wait to see where the corpse lands when they make their decisions.

The WBO and WBC aren't much better. The WBO stripped Chris Algieri of his super lightweight belt 2 or 3 months after he won it just because he was fighting Pacquiao. The WBC are getting better lately, but are still far from great.

The IBF are the only organization with any bit of fairness and logic these days.

THIS illustrates EXACTLY why I hate what these people do. The people who run boxing usually are not the ones who love boxing and this is a prime example of it. No person who loves boxing would destroy the world championships like this.

Eubank will be allowed one more defense (to have a fight) but then be stripped for...not fighting??!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????

WBA clarifies double interim title situation
The winner of Saturday’s bout in Venezuela between Alfonso Blanco and Sergey Khomisky will be recognized as WBA interim middleweight champion, but not until October 25.

Current WBA interim champion Chris Eubank Jr. will be allowed one more defense before being stripped due to inactivity. The winner of Eubank’s October 24 defense against Tony Jeter will immediately be stripped, with the title going to the Blanco-Khomisky winner who must next defend by February 25, 2016.

All parties were informed of the situation.
I hope Eubank doesn't pay the WBA a sanctioning fee. This is ******ed!

The first step is fans stop recognize regular, interim, diamond, etc as champs.

          1 Champ for Org.

I would love to see the WBA go under. Their regular and supers and interims don't mean anything any more anyway. This is not the '70s and '80s with just them and the WBC anymore. They have gotten beyond ridiculous. What claim of fame is it to say that one time, you were the "WBA Regular" champion? Or "Interim" Champion? Or "Super" Champion? What a load of crap.

That's why it has no standing in the mainstream

Its happened only a few times where two fighters got together and told the sanction bodies to go kick rocks...I believe Tarver and Johnson did it when they fought on HBO...WE NEED MORE OF THAT!
