Shows you just how shallow the SMW division is. Everyone goes on about MW being shallow but there are many more prospects on the cusp of becoming contenders.

Groves has had 2 real chances for a title and blown them both.

I just can't see him as a world champion to be honest.

He just lost a title fight. That one win would have to be a great one to get another shot already.

Well, if you get enough chances anythings possible. Look what JMM did on the fourth attempt against Pac.

But staying champ might be a problem for Groves as well.

How about we do a double booking? . . . This will be the Ginger Wingers 4th chance of a World title . . . Superior British Boxers Howard Eastman and Herol Graham had one chance . . . Both of these guys would have destroyed Groves

Don't mean to sound harsh, but Groves tried and failed 3 times at the highest level. I sense Hearn trying to cash in on a future clash with DeGale.

Hearn would give up DeGale in a heart beat to get Groves back.

Nah... and George won't take it yet too.

He needs a big break and to rebuild, not have another world title shot that could wreck his career, he will be a world champion but not right now.

Groves should take some time out, fight a couple of euro level fighters, chuck in an ex champ/contender, then see where he is
