pretty much agree. jennings is a good defensive fighter but doesnt have enough pop to get it done against wilder. hed fight to survive like he did against wlad
Jennings would be favourite against Wilder for certain.
Jennings would be the best opponent Wilder has ever faced.
In fact the only thing to consider is this...
"Was the Jennings vs Klitschko fight staged?"
In other words...
"Did Klitschko carry Jennings?"
We all know Jennings and Klitschko are friends and that their build up was peculiarly bereft of the usual hype episode.
It's basically a 50/50 proposition whether it was for real or not.
So it might just be that Wilder was better than Jennings all along but the Klitschko fight makes it SEEM like Wilder would be a bum fight for Jennings.
So to the drawing board we see Wilder has only height and a little power on his side and maybe a little speed.
Skill-wise it's Jennings all day long even IF the Klitschko fight was an N/C.
This response from Wilder should be interpreted as intense fear and boycotted as usual...
Huh? I thought it was actually clear that Jennings was more skilled than Wilder. Just doesn't have that power. But he's a way more coordinated athlete with wayyyyyy better defense and ability to make adjustments and pick his punches. This is coming from a fan of both. And Jennings after money instead of opportunity? WTF? Jennings could've gone for you, he went for Wladimir the real champion instead and he did it with 19 fights. Took Perez on 18 fights, took Szpilka on 17 fights, fought for the national golden gloves before he boxed for a year and before he had 20 fights turned pro and got moved along faster than Deontay. He's got this totally backwards.
