Crawford got rocked by little G aka little Gamboa...
Crawford gets hit a lot... he's an exciting fighter for sure... and I think he has a shot to beat Postol because Postol doesn't have KO power going by his record..I think the Lucas fight was just one of those right shots at the right time thing..that being said..
Postol is not going to be hurt...and will fight back..I see this fight turning out like Danny Garcia and Herrera...

I go with Imam purely based on STYLES and the saying goes "Styles Make Fights" not "Who He Fought Make Fights"
IMO I feel like Amir Imam Jab would be a nightmare for Postol and Crawford, I already consider his jab one of the best in Boxing. Who he fought? Well IMO Walter Castillo is not bum, Castillo is a very dangerous pressure fighter with excellent power. Imam did well with what I thought would give him problems and that is a strong pressure fighter who comes forward and Imam showed me a lot during that fight. If he has to get into a Chess Match to win a fight and it comes down to skill vs skill, I really Like Imam Chances in a style like that.
I don't think Crawford or Postol does anything that would give Imam serious problems stylistically other than Maybe Crawford working in and out of Orthodox and Unorthodox stances. We will have to wait and see but my money is fully on Imam in both of those match ups if/when it happens based PURELY OFF OF STYLE! Again Based on Style!
I also think Rances Barthelemy who is fighting between 135-140 would UD ALL OF THEM!Last edited by sicko; 10-09-2015, 02:15 PM.

Who did Postol beat before he whipped Matthysse?Last edited by sicko; 10-09-2015, 02:21 PM.

Pedraza did better than Crawford against Klimov...
Abregu did better against Duorme than Crawford...
Other than beating a small Gamboa, Crawford has beat ordinary fighters and looked pedestrian half the time....(Burns and Beltran may have been the most accomplished 135lbers, but they're sh.it...)
Crawford is probably the most overrated fighter in boxing, but honestly, I thought Postol was better than he looked against Matthysse...I thought Postol would win and he did but I attribute it more to Matthysse basically having a melt down after being frustrated(by cheating tactics) and hurt by one punch....Postol was wildly innacurate and the only reason people are overrating him is HBO being on his nuts and the anti-Matthysse sentiment that his fanboys have caused....
Crawford would probably do about as well as Matthysse before round 7 in terms of making Postol miss and get in the better shots even if he gets outworked, but he will actually get credit for it, because he is supposed to be a "master boxer"......look pedestrian in a closeish fight of accuracy vs activity and get all the rounds by the likes of judges like Patricia Jarman and fans who score the fight on who has a reputation of being "the boxer".

Looks like they're putting more heat on this one, really hope this fight happens.
I'd still favor Crawford.
I also think Matthysse's stoppage can also be partially attributed to his wear and tear. The Matthysse vs. Provodnikov fight was truly brutal. It felt like watching them both just deleting full years off each others careers. Garcia put some hurt on Lucas too, but Ruslan's hooks...
Gamboa, while being the smaller guy, was still a very dangerous opponent for Crawford. Gamboa's stoppage was a really shocking outcome when it happened. I don't think it's fair to shortsell Crawford's accomplishment there against a much faster, slicker guy who punches way above his weight.
I think Gamboa could even give Postol serious fits if they were to fight at 140. Maybe we'll even see that eventually happen? Postol's height would factor in significantly there though.
Really hope Crawford looks great in his next outing, want to see him and Postol in early 2016. That would be a can't-miss fight for me.

I like how Postol isn't farting around. He's been in with good, now he wants better. Crawford going the Haymon rout and fighting his way out of contention, and we need to see what happens when the young master steps up. I can't say who'll win, but Postol is willing.
