they're confident that they can put andre ward on their resume. are they still going to talk like this? of course not.


they're not ******. they know that fighting a guy who boxes well, as a great chin, and is a natural 168 lber, is probably not going to end well.


i don't think ward and golvokin will ever fight. the hope is that ward and kovalev will fight toward the end of 2016 on PPV. there's a dan rafael article explaining that roc nation and main events have been in talks.

Clearly after fighting freaking Paul smith, everyone in and around boxing has said ward is p4p again while most ppl say GGG shouldn't be in top 5 because of his opponents, so tell me after a long layoff and a fight against Paul smith if ward is so irrelevant why most in and around boxing have ward rated higher then this beast in Golovkin who been fighting 3 times a year, just come and say Abel ward matchup gives you nightmares and y'all don't want that fight, if you can fight the likes of Rubio,Monroe,rosado,Stevens,etc who brings nothing to table then why can't you fight ward?

because of super 6 tournament wich was almost 5 years ago.

he can fight Ward but ward doesn want to drop weight.So its smart decision not to fight a guy who has weight advantage. If chavez and froch were no big money fights ggg would never move up to fight them

most blatant avoidance i've seen in quite some time...they have 100 excuses that fans will repeat...it will be one commentor that will come here and he'll refute every one who is against this ducking in one post....i dont know how he does it, but he quotes everyone at once and replies to all of them in one big ole message....he's the king of Not making this fight happen

You ****ers act like K2 is in the business of handing Andre Ward a pay day because of what he did 4 years ago.
Everybody should be out to do a favor for Andre Ward lol

He brought all this on himself.
He chose inactivity. He chose to talk about other fighters to keep his name out there in the public even though he chose inactivity.
He's choosing to take 5 months between tune ups lol.

Let's just see how it plays out. Obviously they want no parts of Ward and I don't blame them. But what happens if they can't get Canelo or Cotto?

Then what? Andy Lee won't cut it.

Bottom line is that this PPV headliner is pure basura. And I won't co-sign it because if we keep signing up for **** like that, they'll keep giving it to us.
