Point being, even if it doesn't make as much as the first fight,it would still pull ridiculous amounts of money.
    2.2? Ok. So let's see:

    2.2m PPV's guaranteed Floyd $40m and Canelo $8m.

So you think Pacquiao is taking $8m for a rematch? Or Floyd will come out of retirement for Guerrero money. Tell me.

How is it a bait and switch? You have the choice to buy or not after knowing who's fighting who. Its not like you pay for a fight ahead of time not knowing for sure whos gonna be fighting.

Exactly. That's not enough PPV sales for those two to get the kind of money they're accustomed to. So unless someone takes a STEEP paycut (it won't be Mayweather), forget it. And why would it be worth it to Top Rank? In order for a rematch to happen, Pacquiao's going to have to beat a couple notable names beforehand in very impressive fashion.

in a perfect scenario manny should beat 2 top 10 welterweights and then have the mayweather rematch in 2017.

Not sure why these posters actually believe it is....They seem to be unable to just let it go

Cool ^^ although, I have very low expectations.

                    These are my thoughts.....

Earlier, both Arum and Pac stated that Manny had 3 more fights left.

I believe that to be the case.

The out-of-the-blue political announcement a few days ago, is just Bob Arum squeezing the last drop of milk from the Manny-cow.

They are trying to paint this as possibly Mannys last fight, so they can get away with an underwhelming opponent for Pacs "retirement" fight..... just like Mayweather did with Berto.

Could be wrong, but highly likely imo.

I dont trust a single word coming from that team.

                      ?????

Pac has already refused to fight Cotto at 150.

And Canelo, are you serious ?

                      No chance, of either..... 0%.

Postol, or more of that Rios/Provo/Bradley/Vargas ****ery.

                      I say Postol or Vargas.
