How would it be viewed if he wanted a year vs tune ups at 168?

Kovalevs own promoter said it would be at the end of 2016 months ago,but no one wanted to believe it

GGG has had 33 tune ups at 160, why would he need 3 at 168?

If a fighter is moving up in weight i dont see an issue with adjusting to the weight

He wouldn't. A GGG "tune up" fight is a last resort when nobody else will fight him.
However, for 168, I think 1 tune up fight is acceptable, definitely not 2 or 3...just like I think one tune up fight is ok for Ward at 175.

Ward just had a tune up at 175. I can understand 1 more. I just dont understamd wasting all these tv slots for tune ups. Hopefully they are co features
