Notice that it's only when Khan is out of the country that Mayweather plucks up the courage to come out of hiding.

Technically Broner wasn't coming off a loss. His fight with Porter wasn't in the jr welterweight division.

Theophane is a bum so it's fitting Broner fights him. This is hype, Floyd doesn't really feel like he can beat Broner. If he really did, there would be animosity between the two. Clearly there is not.

The only real win he has is a MD against Delvin Rodriguez in 2010.

Theopane is a sacrificial lamb, so Broner can have an easy fight and Mayweather can make more money off of Theopane than he would otherwise.

I can't do it anymore man, it's getting tiresome having to hold these fighters to actual standards. That sounds so horrible but it's the era we are in, all these fools trying to take soft touches, championships being given to fools instead of them actually earning them, all these dudes wanna talk about is being the "A side". Broner has a lot of talent but he will never live up to it. Dude is trash and i'm not gonna expect much from him but a whole lot of talk. i dont see why people are bashing this fight so much. you cant call broner a b fighter then complain when he makes b fights. it actually makes complete sense of a fight for broner coming off the porter and maidana losses he needs to get few fights in before taking a serious contender again. and lets not pretend his alphabet belt means anything

Of course they do, he's a world champion so he should at least be fighting a contender who poses a threat. Khabib is better than Theophane.
