If I was rigo,I'd be like "well, get one of these 'top guys' at 122 to fight me,and I'd be glad to school them".

Though it's sad, it's an entertainment business driven by revenue made off fans so I completely understand the need to put pressure on those who are financially dead weight. Everyone wants to blame the businessmen involved but how many of you actually watch the amateurs regularly if you are such purists? I don't think there's a real villain here, just different people with different interests, each of which I understand.Comment

What the WBO is actually saying is that they are going to strip Rigondeaux of the title so they can give it back to Top Rank. After Rigondeaux is stripped, I guarantee that two Top Rank fighters will fight for the championship, just as they did when Mayweather was stripped of the WBO welterweight title for not turning over $200,000 of his hard-earned money to the WBO.Comment

Both Rigo and the WBO are a pair of Morons ; I swear Rigo surrounds himself with losers. I cant help laughing at how ****** this predicament is -- the sanctioning body: '' it is our duty and obligation to ensure that our Rules are complied with. In your case, we have not even ordered a Mandatory Defense of your WBO Championship.'' So now we got to actually follow protocol....Maybe.Comment

So it goes like this:
WBA-Haymon
WBO- Arum
WBC- Haymon or highest bidder
IBF- foreigners
Ring-Golden boy
Makes scene seems like there room for the IBO to come up
But on the topic this disgraceful on behalf of the WBO. Just like they did to Andrade, any other sanctioning body would have given him a Mando or let him keep the strap. They're not doing there job and stripping him for cash.WBO is bull****...Last edited by Gentblue; 10-07-2015, 08:11 PM.Comment

It's actually approaching 10 months, and it doesn't look like he's going to fight any time soon.
I took a peek at the WBO rankings at 122, and the no.1 and no.2 are Cesar Juarez and Nonito Donaire respectively (Both TR guys). Could Top Rank be pressuring the WBO to strip Rigo, and then have Donaire fight for the vacant title?
His promotional and managerial situation was supposed to be resolved in September and we're already near midway through October.
With an 8 week camp he's not going to fight until December if they start negotiating today. More realistically he is not fighting this year.Comment

I wish all the top power brokers in the sport could group together to have all the champions in each division fight in a tournament format to crown one champion & then upon reaching a winner have all 17 unified champions throw all 68 belts in a **** filled toilet & lets be done with these corrupt money hungry mfers hurting the legacy of what it means to be a champion in boxing.Comment
