Margarito Is The Most Overrated Fighter In Boxing

I think margaritos is overrated. He is more unskilled than Mayorga but 500x times less entertaining.

Yeah, he works hard and always game. He deserves a title shot but the guy needs to bring more to the table.Everyone says he's going to run over mayweather but I bet these bandwagoneers nutwarmers know boxing about as my toe clippings.

The guy doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breathe as Castillo. He's a poor man's version.

If Margarito is not worthy of a shot at Mayweather, who is? Should Mayweather stay inactive until a fighter cmoes along that deserves a shot at Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather? Or should he just fight whoever is perceived to be the best in an effort to show that he is better than the ones perceived as being the best?

dude i remember gatti mayweather people on forums were saying gatti would ktfo mayweather and crap like id say easily 30 even 40 percent saying that then mayweather destroys gatti and beats him exactly in 6 which i said within 6 but anyhow he destroys him

then those saying gatti would ktfo mayweather criticized mayweather again calling gatti a bum and saying everyone knew mayweather would destroy him

hatton only beat one guy not mitchells leftovers and margarito aint really beat anybody great just a lot of decent fighters

margarito defenitly deserves a shot at floyd, but hes not a big enough draw yet. i think he and floyd need to get one more fight(margaritos to gain him some press) and then sqaure off. at which point floyd will proceed to pick margartio apart, and beat him by an easy ud.
once again people are getting caught up in hype. margarito deserves a shot, but has no chance.

It's not that he was a bad fighter, he just didn't have the pop to keep Mayorga off him, and he couldn't take Mayorga's shots.

Hmm...his power at 147 is certainly very good, and against a former 130 lbs fighter it could prove to be devastating, if landed properly.

He may be slightly overrated by some, but he's also still underrated by just as many.

This fight needs to happen, period.

I agree it should happen, I just don't see Margarito landing those big shots on PBF if Corrales couldn't.

Antonio Margarito I dont think is Overrated at all I mean he has beaten a number of good fighters and always calls out the best fighters in the world I just think that a Floyd or a Mosely would be too much for him then again I have been wrong before not many times tho
