because when floyd sr came out of prison he tried to take over the camp completely when roger had been with floyd so long before that. any time mayweather would have a bad day in the gym his father would treat him horrible. roger would just tell him go home and take it easy and dont worry about it.Originally posted by Parody

he called him the devil in a magazine back in 2001, and said that jr. is full of **** with everything he does.
everytime floyd jr. is asked about his dad he gives him nothing but respect, and is completely the bigger man. the roles are reversed in the father-son relationship. -

Floyd Sr. is in the crowd yelling at Floyd and Roger the whole time, telling him to take Corrales out in the 7th round, which Floyd was probably already planning on anyway. i was watching the replay of corrales mayweather 1 and jim lampley mentioned in the end that floyd and his father reconciled after the fight but not sure for how longComment

There was an recent interview with big Floyd where he was asked about the potential of training ODLH againts his son. He was sayin that Floyd is an ungrateful son, something like that and that he would have no problems being in DLh corner againts his son because his son would not give him squat anyways so he has to make a living. Anyway it did not look like they were in good terms from that article. Forgot were I saw it but I did.Comment

Years back I was at a fight at the REGENT about 40 miles off the strip in Vegas and ran into Floyd Senior and I bull****ted with him for well over a half hour.
We talked about a ton of **** and his ego is about 5 times the size of his sons.
On one hand he was talking about his sons weakneses and how he could exploit them with another fighter and I asked him point blank if he would train against his son on a fight night and he said he would never be in the opposite corner on fight night.
he was all over the ****ing place-dumping on Floyd Junior and then in almost the same sentance he is all over Floyd talking about how great he was.
One thing is for sure...he could have killed me with his bar hands in about 7 seconds.Comment
