Yup, I've been a fan of Viloria since the Pinoy Pride/Latin Fury days.
I was gutted when he got robbed 3 times in a row back in 2006/2007 against Omar Nino Romero twice and Edgar Sosa. Viloria won those fights.Comment

As a Mexican Ia m rooting for el Chocolatito, I am proud of a latinoamerican being the #1 P4P, plus I want the Chocolatito Vs Estrada rematch.Comment

Nicaraguans have destroyed Mexican fighters... Finito Lopez got a gift draw vs Rosendo Alvarez of Nicaragua (who should broken his undefeated streak considering the knockdown -- he was robbed) Alexi Arguello defeated the great Ruben Olivarez ; Chocolatito took Estradas 0 (Mexicos best fighter recently)...Comment

One more thing to consider. Great Alexis Arguello (RIP) lost by KO against an unknown Mexican fighter in Managua Nicaragua. Alexis was 19-2-0 while Jorge Reyes record was 7-6-0 (Reyes ended his career with a horrible 8-12-0 and only 25 % KO). A defeat doesn't mean much when you compare two nations and their history in boxing.Comment

I am not Mexican. True that in the first fight Alvarez-Lopez there was some controversy about scoring it a draw; however, Finito won clearly the rematch (just like Floyd should have lost against Castillo but won easily in the rematch). Yes, Alexis defeated Olivares in a fight where the veteran lost again the younger fighter and Ruben was ahead in 2 cards before the KO in the 13th round. Arguello (RIP) has been for me the best boxer from Nicaragua (beyond Roman Glez. mainly due to the opposition faced). Finally, Estrada didn't lost his zero against Roman (his first loss was against Juan Carlos Sanchez and by the way Estrada later won a rematch). So far, only Alexis has scored a KO against any of the Mexican members of the Hall of Fame. But maybe that qualifies as "Nica destroying Mex" for you. Incidentally, I don't have any problem if Glez. wins against Viloria as long as Roman rematches Estrada which is a fight many boxing fans would like to see.Comment
