IMO a Latino on Latino rivalry is more of a big deal to Mexicans than Latino on Filipino/Asian rivalry. They want to establish who the better Latino group is. So in this case, many Mexicans will go for Viloria and want the Nicaraguan to fail.

Yeah, I get ya. I just don't understand the idea of rooting for a guy by proxy to establish that Mexicans are better lol.
