I'm guilty of it myself. I'm a fan of Lucas..... and I can't stand Boner.
But it seems widespread. You love one... you hate the other. Is there a reason? Someone said something about "Broner revenge". Really? Is a Lucas loss really Broner revenge? How so?
So Matthysse haters (alias Boner lovers) had themselves a field day last weekend, eh? Matthysse gets a beatdown, in which he quit on one knee.... and Boner, sporting a new beard ("I don't always drink beer, but... when I do... I drink Dos Equis").... beats this relatively unknown dude and all of a sudden Boner is the king of boxing. Damn! Why oh why do Boner lovers hate Lucas Matthysse?
An interesting trivia would be what other weekend of boxing has produced two different fights as connected as the Matthysse and Boner fights apparently were.
