Comments Thread For: Rios: I Could Be Catching Tim Bradley At the Right Time

Brandon Rios realizes the warrior within Timothy Bradley is going to create a difficult fight for him Nov. 7 in Las Vegas.

But Rios also senses Bradley might’ve accepted one grueling challenge too many after enduring several physically taxing fights the past few years. The 29-year-old Rios (33-2-1, 24 KOs) and the 32-year-old Bradley (32-1-1, 12 KOs, 1 NC) will fight for Bradley’s WBO welterweight title in a 12-round HBO “World Championship Boxing” main event next month at UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center.

I love Bradley, but he's definitely damaged goods. Rios's style is a bad match for Tim. He doesn't have the power to keep Rios off and once Rios starts landing those big shots, it's over for Desert Storm.

I wonder if you're underestimating Bradley's speed. The guy practically outclassed JMM, and Rios is not as quick or intelligent as Marquez.

Bradley should beat Rios pretty easily.

Watch him get caught up in a brawl, go life and death with Rios

If Rios is landing bombs that means Bradley is not staying off ropes, not using angles, not boxing in a circle, he would be going straight back. That would be Bradley's fault if he uses speed boxes him he wins

I feel the opposite. I think it's a bad style match up for Rios. Bradley isn't going to stand there and trade, not with Atlas in his corner who knows better.

He is going to move and box and frustrate Rios for 12 rounds and honestly, I don't see an exciting fight. I think Bradley learned from the Provo debacle.

Good point, Bradley has good speed & his Stamina is good & we know he is a warrior. I'm rooting for Bradley by unaminous decision but a hard fought fight. I do like & respect Rios though.

Im honestly surprised people are acting as if Rios is in the same league as Bradley...This is a mismatch and Rios is a bum...
