Lemieux has the IBF title, he won it in his vacant title fight with N'Dam in June.

Golovkin has one of the WBA titles (I think Super), and then IBO (which I know isn't considered "major") and whatever version of WBC title (interim?) that allows him to be considered next in line for Cotto-Canelo.

    Dizzying, I know.

GGG surely is focused bc he knows his defense isnt there like ppl make it out to be...he knows david can crack, but it is all david can do imo...but GGG knows he, himself, is just a B level fighter with power so he has to take it serious..

fans that say they expect a war know the truth...its only a war bc ggg has no defense..
Since you've already stated you're not ordering the fight, I'm sure you would love nothing more than for the fight to be a dud, more ammunition for your 'told you so's'. Enjoy reading about the fight on here on Boxingscene.

both cotto and canelo have taken by far higher risks than GGG at this point, GGG has a crappy resume for a reason... so to talk about balls when right now GGG is in clear business mode isnt wise...
and by the way someone needs to tell you that weight classes are regulated on a day before weigh-in not a fight night weigh-in, it doesnt matter what you weight on fight night, and up to this point if im correct GGG has never made 154 on the scale, if he was so small he wouldnt be on such a crappy division...
anyone from 154-168(*some exclusions may apply)....
we wont fight canelo under 160(not even 159)
we wont fight ward over 164...
we wont fight lara at all...
          talk about some balls...

The early rounds could be really wild in this.. Fully expecting Lemieux to start throwing fast balls within the first 30 seconds of the fight which GGG will have to answer.

I think Gennady has the harder punch but Lemieux is more willing to let his hands go wildly. If Lemieux hits his mark whether by chance or not it could be a serious chin check for Gennady.

I expect GGG to win by KO in the middle rounds. If Lemieux is going to win then I think it'd have to be via early rounds stoppage, full-on "shock the world" style. Probably like a 15% chance of that happening (or something).
