A Collosal Loss For Matthysse; If His Eye Is Healthy He Needs To Rebound Fast

I was more shocked to see Matty not get up, than getting knocked down. Legitimately he may very well have not been able to see out of an eye that wasn't swollen; that would freak anyone out. So I give him the benefit of a doubt. He war'd with Swift, Provod, he's never why'd away from war, AND he knew winning this fight led to much larger money at '47. He has no business fighting anyone an inch shy of 6'0" tall. I'd rather see Matty fight guys like Brook, Provod, Porter, Bradley, Rios, Marquez. Postol like former Champ Paul Williams, is going to be a tough match up for most guys.

Imagine if Canelo and Lemiuex are both brutally knocked out, as well. Could be a very harsh time for GB.

              LOL wut ?

He should stay away from Brook, Porter, Bradley, Marquez.

The winnable fights for him are Provodnikov, Rios.

Now you're fantasizing. This is what is at stake when you make great fights. Or would you rather watch Danny Garcia vs Rod Salka? Mayweather vs Berto??? Matthysse-Postol was a bad match up in size, not knowing enough about Postol. It happens. Also why so many wouldn't fight Paul Williams back in the day. Lemieux will get KOd early by GGG and most are expecting that. But Canelo stops Cotto late, and GBP will move on to promoting more great fights. At least they take chances with their headline talent. Haymon & Co rarely and slowly make big fights.

Another guy crying that Postol was too big.

Postol was the exact same size for his last fight, and nothing changed..... so why weren't you complaining about the size difference before that fight?

                  They were both JWW's.

It sounds to me like you over-rated Matthyse, and you slept on Postol.
