Yes, it's possible. Chavez is a good fighter and ranked 9th at welterweight. He gives lots of trouble to guys like Bradley, Thurman and Rios. He comes up a bit short of beating the best. Bradley really beat him in spite of the draw decision and Thurman stopped him. Brook is a sharp shooter and a hard puncher and I think he will win by KO but it's no sure thing.

Even if Chaves managed to knock out Brook it wouldn't be the same thing because Chaves is not winning some kind of outside boxing match. It would be a rough and tumble brawl.

Na, I think Brook stops him. Postol was a bit of a wildcard due to his lack of quality opposition and exposure but we've seen exactly what Chaves can do and it's not enough.

No where near the same situations Postol is a better fighter than Lucas
Chavez is not better than brook
Don't try to make it as if Postol puled an upset

              No

I dont see Chaves making it past 5

Chaves has been in some wars, his best days are behind him and even on his best day he wouldn't beat Brook

This is just another warm up fight for Brook, but at least its a step up from chancres like Frankie Gavin and Ho Ho Dan

Postol wasn't really a surprise to those who looked at it objectively. Chavez isn't supposed to beat Brook and it would definitely be a surprise.

He certainly has a chance, but let's please not call it "a postol".

What's really worrying besides the fact he is coming off a loss and draw is he has also been inactive for 10 months or would be by fight night.

I don't see it. He's simply not as good as Brook.

He will certainly make it ugly and interesting as he always does, but Brook has most of the advantages. It's a really good fight and one of the more difficult one's stylistically.
