Broner was an undefeated, multiple weight champion and a bigger favorite going into his fight with Maidana than Lucas was in this fight. It was a much more surprising loss.

But also I agree that Matthysse not being black is a factor.

The hype train for Matthysse has been off the track for a while, if this had happened back in the day that would have been a lot more fun.

To be honest it just wasn't as funny as the Broner performance and I was a Broner-tard the point he fought Maidana. Lucas had the guy stunned a few times too but Postol was too sharp defensively.

Broner acted a fool, dry humped Maidana, then got smacked da phuck up, ****d back, and wobbled out the ring.
