I just watched the replay today, it was even more apparent now that Lucas straight up quit in that fight. Initially I thought he was badly hurt, but he got up on his knee and looked fine but didn't want anymore. It sucks to see, but this happens.

People call it quitting. It shouldn't be that.

Lucas didn't get physically knocked out, he got mentally knocked out. He just had nothing left & he knew it. That's why he gave it. He was a mentally beat man.

Someone like Maidana or Rios would get back up & just heave bombs as a last resort.

Why are you still defending Floyd's choice to fight a guy ranked 16th?

No one who knows anything about boxing can call Berto "a bum". Is he top tier talent? No. Do we know why "TBE" was fighting a guy of his caliber for his last only speaks to May's questionable match making at times.

Larry, I enjoy some of your posts. You're pretty smart (on certain aspects of boxing). But, the Floyd stuff makes you look dim, homey. And, like another run of the mill fanboy on this board.
