Maidana himself said that Broner is a really strong puncher. I think people are now underrating him at 140. Remember, he lost to two strong ass fighters at 147 and still went all 12, even did good in the final rounds. He's got a good shot at being a top fighter at 140 hate aside.

The facts are that maidana had broner hurt multiple times during the fight,knocked him down in the 2nd and in the 8th,and was going to finish him off in the 8th,but broner grabbed on for dear life,and managed to put on an Oscar winning performance when he threw himself on the floor and tried getting maidana dq'd. If you want to give credit to broner for managing to finish, that's fine,but maidana embarrassed broner,and literally made him run out of the ring crying,refusing to give an interview.

I don't care about any of that. I saw the fight. I even got a tad worried when Chino got hurt in the late rounds because I didn't think Broner would last. Broner got a beating, but the kid has the heart of lion whether people want to admit that or not. I know what I saw. Again, Maidana staggered in one of the late rounds and retreated backwards.
