I would have stayed down too if all of the sudden one of my eyes shut down . That's some scary ****. Postol was on his way to winning comfortably no matter what tho.Last edited by DannYankee; 10-05-2015, 04:27 AM.

Not gonna trash a fighter looking out for his health. However I thought he looked spent past the 7th, I don't think he had an answer for Postol's educated left hand.

Anyone saying he's just making excuses about his eye, read the article and listen to him saying that Postol was just frustrating him overall with boxing and that it simply was a bad boxing night for him. It happens.

lucas is a warrior and postol outboxed him. there is no shame in losing a fight. he gave his best and its good that he knew when to stop. look at joel diaz - he is a great coach but lost an eye from fighting while hurt. freddie roach, james toney, ali etc.
there is no shame in knowing when to stop. he lives to fight another day and anyone who truly appreciates boxing will watch la maquina fight again. props to postol. he is a beast.
