I think mental frustration played a big factor in his decision not to continue. In the last several rounds, it appeared as though he had mentally checked out of the fight and was mostly just going through the motions like in the Garcia fight. Once he was dropped, he likely thought he was fighting an uphill and losing battle and felt it pointless to continue. In the post fight (before bringing up the eye issue), he specifically mentioned being frustrated by Postol and experiencing a mental block, then said that after becoming frustrated "no se que me paso" (i don't know/can't explain what happened to me).

Not going to fault him for saying ''enough is enough." At the end of the day, I wasn't in the ring taking that punishment and I was not the one in the ring wondering if a continued beating would put an end to my livelihood.

Lucas Little matty is the most overhyped farce in boxing and acomplete weak joke. Losses to Devon and Bradley and Danny G and now the Postol Ko prove the litte Luke is a sissie. Keep in mind Marcos maidana beat the quitting Lucas I QUIT 4 times already in Argentina. Lucas is just not very good and has average boxing skills. If Lucas were black he wouldn't even get fights.
