It was far from "Leonard vs Hearns".

Maybe I'm spoiled. I didn't see any fireworks between Judah and Mayweather. Both held back. Both didn't put it on the line. There was too much sweet science, IMO. I'm all for the art of boxing...but these two fought too defensively. IMO, Mayweather put more heart into this fight to come from behind (Judah won perhaps the first 5 rounds) but it wasn't dramatic like the Leonard coming back to beat Hearns.

Decent fight...but it didn't live up to the hype.

They should make Jorge Arce the main event at every fight night, BTW.

Yeah, they definitely held back more than they should have, I had Mayweather winning more early rounds than the first five, but the fight could have been more intense (except, of course, for the extracurricular fight at the end of round 10). I thought Zab would really try to take it to Mayweather more than he did.

The fight was a let down for me. Nothing spectacular. Mayweather was picking his shots beautifully but Zab did almost nothing but catch his punches with his nose and ribs. Occasionally he'd throw a punch...but he's not one punch knockout artist. What was he thinking?

The rematch will be even more boring, if they get one.

Yeah, the huge ebb and flow of the Leonard vs Hearns wasnt there. Mayweather is a great fighter but isn't the mostly exciting fighter, although P4P the best at the momment. We wont see the Leonard vs Hearns till he fights the big pressure guys that actually have speed (unlike Gatti). These will be, Hatton, Castillo, Cotto and Margarito.

Those might not be terribly exciting if PBF begins to totally dominate them with his boxing at long range and like he did vs Gatti.

I'm still looking forward to when those guys fight each other then we'll see some real fire works.

Zab doesn't have the confidence needed to beat a guy like PBF. Had he been a little more confident in his power and skill he might have put up a better fight. As for PBF, he did what PBF does, technically beat the **** out of you with combos and counter punches, with blinding speed.

He was doing fine until after the 5th round. Even Lennox Lewis was surprised at that and he attributed Judah's performance to being inspired to fight better because people expected him to lose.

I don't know what happened after that. I guess Mayweather happened.

Anyway, all that talent and Judah barely used it. Mayweather will beat you if you don't throw. Easier said than done but you gotta have Mayweather covering up other wise he will pop you all night long.

Mayweather tends to have that effect on people.
