Jirov was a very good Eastern Euro fighter. The Toney fight was amazing and memorable.

I don't really care where a fighter is from unless he is a Brit but out of the list GGG, Postol, Beterbiev, Loma. Tbh I like all of them apart from Kovalev.

I voted GGG, Kovalev is a close 2nd though.

I like a lot of the guys on the list.

                  Kovalev

Wladimir Klitschko -- a boxing scientist with the ultimate boxing physique who has inconsistently (Pulev KO was pure old school Wlad) become more difficult to watch and Floyd-esque as he's aged.

Denis Lebedev -- Meh. A "tough fighter" but he's never held my attention.

Grigory Drozd -- Cruiser is an extremely underrated division. This guy is better than most of the hot prospects at welter but just doesn't get the western attention.

Artur Beterbiev -- Love to watch him fight but he's part of that GYM/Haymon racket. Can't get behind him knowing how he's likely to be promoted from here on.

Sergey Kovalev -- The most exciting and probably best fighter in the sport. If I could have any blend of savagery and strategy I would choose his.

Gennady Golovkin -- A good fighter with a classic style. Offered to fight anyone when he wasn't making any money and now they're all begging to fight him. His turn to laugh. With that said, I don't think he's as special as Kovalev. A truly world class boxer could steal rounds from him.

Victor Postol -- I'm not sure how good he is just yet, but a mini-Wladimir intruding on 140/147 territory should evoke lots of amusing hatred from certain circles.

Vasyl Lomachenko -- Beautiful to watch, almost like he's dancing, but he is too much of a crisp perfectionist and needs to become deliberately messier to last as a professional. I think he will get Salido'd again before he retires.

Krzysztof Glowacki -- He got big western exposure on a PBC broadcast but in reality he's a sitting duck at cruiserweight and Huck had an off night, just IMO.

Alexander Povetkin -- If he looked different and it was 1970 you would have a poster of him on your wall. Has done so much at heavyweight despite being way too small for the modern division. He even had the right strategy against Wladimir which is what forced Wladimir to behave in such a cringeworthy fashion. Sadly I think Sasha will burn out and lose to lesser opposition before he ever gets a chance to rule a post-Wlad division. He took the hard road while other HWs were sucking their thumbs, beat back roughly the same opposition as Wlad himself.
