Los Angeles - Viktor Postol floored Lucas Matthysse with a straight right hand in the 10th round to keep his unbeaten record intact and claim the vacant WBC super lightweight title.

The Ukrainian nailed Matthysse with a vicious right hand over a left jab that sent the Argentine to the canvas and ended the fight at the StubHub Center stadium in Los Angeles.

Crowford will not take the fight if he has enough balls he would fight Postol in February.

hes got a chin no doubt i think fact he stood up after mattyssee had little success i think it was like 6 maybe 7 round mattyssee landed some huge shots and postol took em i think that beat the fight out of mattysee more so then anything else he was being out classed and when he realized even landing bombs might not be enough he was mentally done. he may of been given credit by judges but imo after that matysee didnt come close to winning a round

Crawford is tall and rangy like Postol plus he can fight on both the inside and the outside. That will be a good fight.

I wouldn't mind seeing Matthysse get a rematch first though. He was doing good but then seemed thrown off by the clash of heads.

                Yup. Garcia ducked him twice.

Not so fast Postol, you have unfinished business before Crawford:

                    July 18, 2015:

Hot prospect Amir Imam is zeroing in on his first world title shot now, as the 24-year-old knocked out Fernando Angulo this evening in a WBC junior welterweight eliminator bout...

Imam is now in line to face the winner of a potential Lucas Matthysse vs Viktor Postol fight, which would contest the now-vacant WBC junior welterweight title. That fight is looking likely for October 3, which would push any Imam title shot into 2016.

I hope Arum let's Crawford fight Pacquiao @ 144, and Postol face Imam!
