Oscar will be at 50 Cent promoting status by the end of the year. At least 50 has like 20 other business venues, what else does Oscar have? He might have to resurrect his singing career, this time with the fish nets on.

f@k it , we're getting great fights, wishmore promoters would take risk.

      Postol was a huge risk.

        Couple of things

Assuming he doesn't retire, Matthysse I am sure will be welcome back on HBO. They'll be working on setting up Matthysse vs Providnikov 2 soon.

Lemiux I am sure will also be back on HBO unless he his annihilated. Even if he is, I'd bet he winds up back on HBO at one point or another.

Canelo clearly will be back on HBO regardless of the Cotto fight.

And if I am not mistaken, didn't GBP get over 20 million dollars from losing all the fighters they did? They're bills should be paid for a while, regardless. And if they win their suit against Haymon, which cleared it's first hurdle already, they can probably go a long time between champs without going broke.

Oscars an addict, and addicts can relapse at any time (no knock on the dude, that's just the reality of addiction). But he's probably not going broke.

Canelo and Lem will lose lol

Thing is though, Canelo is young and popular enough to come back and carve out a name for himself anyway.

Lem is good enough to have a few more decent fights down the road, so it's not the end but the much hyped Matthysse is done. His only way back is a Broner fight.

Matthysse losing is a huge blow and Canelo losing would be really bad for Golden Boy. Lemieux though? No one expects him to win. Don't think him losing matters much, he can go back to what he was before, a dangerous punching middleweight contender. Nothing is really lost.

agreed but even lemeiux had chance to really ride the train got give him credit for going ahead taking the fight with ggg and not milking it and if he can somehow win pull the huge upset it may save gbp in the near future. is there a 4th gbp star im forgetting?

The thing is, the only way Canelo can lose is by KO. We've seen how favorable judges are for.him. Can Cotto KO him? We'll see.

It's really up to Canelo now, Lemule is getting the business.
