a fair fight? yeah postol ko'd him after he ****** the life from him for 8 straight rounds of clinching. you don't think that effected the fight at all? how is that not a dq? how is that any different than what henry awindade did to lewis. if awindade was around nowadays you would probably think he's the best boxer on the planet.

Jack Reiss needs to get a lot of credit here. The fight was boring and uneventful in the first 5 rounds, then he warned Postol about the clinching Postol actually fought better. I saw the same thing happen with Klitschko against Jennings late in the fight, where he fought a lot better when he didn't rely on the clinch.

Reiss is one of the better refs in the game.

that's not true. he's terrible against anyone who holds him and won't let go. there's literally nothing he could do but either give up or throw rabbit punches. he tried both in fact. how do you land a clean punch on someone who has your arm clamped and his head in your chest? reposition yourself? he has your arm clamped so you can't move your feet or you go tumbling down.

It's true I wonder why elite boxers get to clinch all night long without point deductions?

oh dear lord. what in the world are you saying. postol never stopped clinching. never. in fact reiss let him clinch for 7 straight rounds. must have been 100 times. why no dq? the reason postol and wlad did better late in the fight is because their opponents were dead tired from being clinched so they didn't have to clinch as smuch. its a lot easier to open up when your opponent has nothing left. even in the 8th and 9th roudsn postol was still clinching just not as much because matthysse dind't have as much energy. same with klitschko against jennings. if the ref didn't let postol clinch in the first 7 rounds what would he do? open up like he did late and probably get stopped.

Matthysse quit like a bozo, which was quite surprising. I will say this though about the fight, Postol's boxing style is ****ing trash!! Smh I hate what's happening in Boxing man. Seriously this is some bull****.

i wonder why akwindade and chaves were dq'd. because boxign is a rigged sport. the ref is the most important person in teh ring. even more important than the fighters sometimes. if he doesn't enforce the rules he gives a huge advantage to clinchers. if he does enforce the rules the other figther gets a huge advantage. its a shame one side is winning this war. the cheater and unentertaining side of course

both things are true. matthysse went out with a whimper and postol cheated nonstop. realizing that you are the b-side in a wlad fight will destroy anyone mentally.
