At least he opened up at some point and didnt try to clinch. I dont get why all ref does like the red did tonight. Give him the warnings and if it keeps going, take away points. Alot of boxers use it but when ur a super star u get away with it.

Who cares, does Matthysse even know how to operate on the inside? The answer is no, so who cares. Ones' inside game should never be rendered useless by clinching, if Matthysse wasn't so busy trying to rabbit punch or loading up every goddamn punch, he could have properly positioned himself on the inside and landed meaningful punches.

That said, with his limitations he gave it his all. Much respect to Matthysse and hopefully he's ok.
