I saw a few good fights in there but damn, Showtime really has ****** it up this year for the most part. At least it's boxing but this year has been a let down for me in contrast to say 2 or 3 years ago.

I think Showtimes vision is to have Haymon develop fighters on free tv and then put them on Showtime for PPV. The question is how long are they going to have to wait for a PPV star to emerge? Cause right now Showtimes programming is very poor in comparison to HBO. They can deliver some fights, but all the good fights are either on free TV or HBO. They're stuck with putting on Brook vs. Chaves and Russell Jr. vs. some random fighter.

So you are impressed with all of those cards? I saw like 3 that peeked my interest. He pretty much did leave Showtime for dead IMO, and then to put on cards directly competing with HBO....WTH?

Brook-Chaves is a damn good and competitive fight, Quillen-Jacobs, Degale-Bute are solid name fighter clashes that might not be action but still should be anticipated. Nothing else to really get excited about here.

Still wont pay for showtime. Give us any combinatiom of porter, thurman, khan, danny garcia, spece. No more premier boxing crap.
