Comments Thread For: Langford Watches Mayweather, Ward To Improve Defense

TOMMY LANGFORD has built a powerful case for the defence as he bids to move into the world title mix tonight.

The Midlands-based bruiser tops the bill at Wolverhampton Civic Hall, where he defends his WBO Inter-Continental middleweight belt against Christian Fabian Rios.

And although he is unbeaten in 13 contests, Langford is the first to admit that the defensive aspect of his game needs to improve.

Floyd defense is not as great as people think his defense is holding shoulder roll but his greatest defense was increase stamina due to steroid use. Had he not been on Roids he would have been stopped by Madaina. I'm sure his steroid use began when he fought Delahoya he was a scrawny 140 than came in at a muscular 150 for that fight.
